Gregory, Philippa: Bread and Chocolate

I don't have the list of titles of the short stories with me, so I can't describe the stories in a bit more detail, but I can tell you that I liked this collection of short stories. It may not really make you think deep and hard, but she can really tell complete stories in this limited setting - stories of human beings, all well-crafted and plucks right at your heartstrings. She's quite good at developing characters, probably from the many historical novels she writes, where she crafts characters and stories from the research she does. Good book for a myriad of emotions.
